Fibre Optic Cable Blowing Machine

Designed and built in-house for Telkom-accredited fibre installers and the broader South African fibre rollout market. Based on the proven JetStream-style cable blowing principle — a controlled air stream and driven belt system installing fibre cable through microducts — but built lighter, more streamlined, and entirely in stainless steel, with the motor concealed inside the frame instead of bolted on the outside.

  • Full stainless steel construction — no plastic housing, built for site conditions and years of daily use
  • Motor fully concealed inside the frame for a streamlined, less bulky profile than imported units
  • Clip-on base doubles as a stand while blowing, then clips over the top to fully enclose the machine as a carry case — no separate case needed
  • Integrated electronic control and monitoring system, built around an ESP32 controller
  • Roadmap includes app-based control and diagnostics
  • Modular construction — drive head and control module swap out for fast repair
  • Built locally, for local support — spares and service without importing
  • Aimed at South Africa's ongoing national fibre rollout, backed by hundreds of kilometres of new cable laid every month
