Our fibre blowing machine uses a dual-belt gripping conveyor system, with both belt sets driven synchronously off a single AC servo motor. This ensures perfectly matched grip speed on both sides of the fibre optic cable, eliminating slip and uneven tension that cause feed inconsistency in single-belt or friction-roller designs.
Key advantages:
- High pulling force – engineered to exceed the ~40kg stall threshold of comparable existing machines, giving more reliable performance over longer cable runs and tighter duct paths.
- Precision motion control – the AC servo motor (rated 3000 rpm / 3.18 Nm, capable of bursts to 5000 rpm / 9.54 Nm) allows fine-tuned speed and torque control, protecting delicate fibre optic cable from over-tensioning or crushing.
- Compact, purpose-built footprint – the ~250mm conveyor length and 25mm belt width are sized specifically for fibre cable handling, rather than adapted from general-purpose conveyor stock.
- Single-motor synchronization – driving both belts from one motor (via matched T5 pulley ratios) removes the timing drift that occurs with independently driven dual-belt systems.
